Built for the DCMS Voluntary Code on Prize Draws and Competitions

The competition landscape is changing. Operators must demonstrate transparency, fairness, and public accountability. Veristiq provides the independent audit layer required to meet the DCMS Voluntary Code with confidence.

What is the DCMS Voluntary Code?

The DCMS Voluntary Code establishes expectations for transparency, fairness, and accountability in prize competitions and free draws. It sets out guidelines for how operators must log, verify, and publish draw outcomes to protect consumers and ensure fair play.

The "Black Box" Problem

Regulators and players are increasingly skeptical of "screen recorded" draws. A video proves nothing about the underlying database. Did you include all entries? Did you remove anyone unfairly? Could you prove it if asked?

A screen recording is not evidence. Regulators need a verifiable audit trail.

DCMS Warning

"Operators must be able to demonstrate that their draws are conducted fairly and in accordance with their terms."

Veristiq's Answer

  • Independent Verification

  • Immutable History

A tamper-evident chain prevents retroactive changes or selective deletions.

  • Public Accountability

Winners and draw evidence are publicly accessible — not hidden inside your CMS.
